Pinhanços is the witch balcony where climbing up the valley, facing the majestic, we to look the Serra da Estrela, whose ridges, rough cut, they seem to surround the colossal towel sanctuary of the mountain Serra da Estrela whose gigantic, figure sometimes immaculate white of purity, nes-tles in a hillside village in each hill a chapel, leaving in every wrinkle a stream frightened, pra-ying quietly slipping into the sea.

Climate: Continental
Soil: Granitic rock, light acid and poor in nutrients
Grape Varieties: Tinta-Roriz, Touriga-Nacional, Alfrocheiro e Jaen
Production: 20.000 bottles
Winemaking: Wine fermented with long maceration at controled temperature between 22 and 24ºC.
Aging: Aged 14 months in French “Allier” Oak Barrels and 2 months in cellar before releasing to the consumer.
Bottling: 2010
Alchoolic Contain: 13,0 % ALC. By VOL.

TASTING NOTES

Colour: Deep Ruby.
Aroma: Intense redberry fruits, envolving spicies, with some toasty aromas.
Taste: Good volume in the mouth, excellent tanin structure and very persistent end.
Final Taste: Intense, long and persistent.
